1. My job doesn't suck the life out of me.
2. I have time to invest in friends and family.
3. My relationships are stronger - probably as a result of #2.
4. I have time to volunteer with one of my favorite organizations - International Justice Mission.
5. There have been a small handful of people I love who have intentionally tried to make this birthday a good one. (In all fairness, there were people who did the same thing 4 years ago, but it feels different this year.)
6. And I get to spend the day watching this cutie pie...how can that be a bad thing?
